What to expect at a visit: From the moment you arrive at the entrance you will be greeted then take your temperature and escort you to your private treatment where you will be offered a warming cup of tea and water. Your physician will then greet you and review your medical history, laboratory results and any medications or supplementation you are currently taking. The physician will then be a detective asking you many questions on how you feel, what your day consists of such as; asking things such as your bowel movements, eating habits, sleeping patterns, pain levels, and even about your sweat. They will then ask to see your tongue and feel your pulse on both wrists. When looking at your tongue they are looking for things such as the coating quality, coating color, the color of the body of the tongue, shape, position, and whether its thin or puffy, etc. The tongue shows us what has been happening in the body for the last three days or so, whereas the pulse tells us what’s happening right then and there. With their findings they will develop a protocol on where they will strategically place the acupuncture needles. Our treating physicians never leave anything out.

Simon started his journey on the path of healing himself and others over 20 years ago. It started when he coincidentally heard his mother talking to a friend about Reiki, and hearing this, a lightning bolt went off in his head. He knew he had to learn more about this amazing yet simple healing technique.A couple of years later after practicing at different levels and lineages of Reiki, he was attuned to the master level of Tummo Reiki by its founder Irmansyah Effendi in 2003. The style incorporates Kundalini energy, Earth core energy, Reiki & Shing Chi (Shing Chi is a healing energy that comes through the Celestial Chakras above the Crown Chakra). Simon particularly loves Tummo Reiki because it focuses on strengthening, opening, and working through the heart.

As he learned more about Reiki, Simon wanted to find more ways to apply his healing energy. This is when he came across Massage Therapy, and it felt like a perfect fit for him. In 2002, he graduated from The Institute for Therapeutic Massage as an LMT. Simon has taken pieces of everything he’s learned and combined them into an amalgamation for what he hopes to be a truly therapeutic & healing massage.
